Slow Food for the Poor Challenge

A week of menus within the food stamp budget using local foods, frugal supermarket shopping, home gardening, home preservation of foods, and preparing meals from basic ingredients. This menu is for two people for one week. Prices for supermarket foods are from independent supermarkets in December 2004; prices for local foods based on Oklahoma Food Cooperative prices, November 2004.
